Non-verbal Books

The research conducted for our products indicated that reading books and watching television were the highest preferred hobbies and interests

of the senior citizens and care-recipients with probable early Alzheimer's disease surveyed. (Click here for more information on the research)

Our non-verbal books are designed with simple and complex imagery with cues for recognition.

The layout is landscape A4 size and it is recommended that they be printed on matte photopaper to avoid distracting shine.

Collating with plastic coated coil-binding as illustrated below will facilitate ease of turning pages for your care-recipient, this also allows the book to remain

flat on a table without pages flopping closed. Alternatively a care-giver may fold the book back so that a

care-recipient may hold the book with two hands and view a single page closely.

These books are suitable for carers, family and Diversional therapists to share with a care-recipient and

allow for spontaneous verbal or non-verbal communication.

Ideal for quiet times - doctors' or clinic waiting rooms - as part of a therapists activity program.
